AI Team – Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead a cross-functional team delivering AI-driven solutions. You’ll be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary squad combining both technical and business expertise, ensuring delivery is smooth, efficient, and value-focused.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery Leadership

• Lead all key Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
• Proactively identify and resolve blockers that impact team productivity or timelines
• Act as an agile coach, encouraging self-organisation and embedding best practices and Scrum principles
• Shield the team from outside distractions and maintain focus on sprint goals
• Drive collaboration within the squad and with key stakeholders, including the Product Owner
• Champion continuous improvement by monitoring team performance and supporting capability growth

Project & Delivery Oversight

• Manage budgets, time-tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with Finance, PMO, and funding requirements
• Track and communicate progress across Epics, Features, and Stories using agile metrics like burn-downs and backlog insights
• Produce accurate spend forecasts and release plans based on velocity, resource allocation, and story point estimates
• Lead regular risk reviews and maintain active risk and issue logs (ACRI)

Product Owner Support

• Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritised, and aligned to the roadmap
• Help define and communicate a shared understanding of backlog items across the team
• Facilitate ceremonies and workshops to support refinement, MVP planning, and continuous alignment with the product vision
• Support the evolution of the product strategy, helping to translate it into actionable backlog items
