DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Python and AWS to join our team. The primary focus will be on developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for the automated delivery and updating of Sonos software and firmware. This role is crucial in enhancing our deployment processes to ensure fast, reliable updates to our products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Python and AWS services to automate the deployment of Sonos software and firmware updates.
• Utilize AWS tools and services to ensure efficient management and scalability of deployment operations.
• Implement automation scripts in Python to streamline the build and release processes, enhancing productivity and reducing error rates.
• Collaborate with software development and QA teams to integrate best practices and address pipeline dependencies and challenges.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the deployment processes to meet technical and business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience with AWS, particularly in services related to deployment and operations (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Proficient in Python, with a solid track record of developing automation tools and scripts.
• Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with a background in deploying software/firmware.
• Knowledge of additional scripting and programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
