Senior Technical Project Manager

Hays Luxembourg is looking for an experienced Project Manager, to handle Operations and It Domains.

The ideal candidate will have experience in in the financial services environment. Proficient in organizing, scheduling, and overseeing projects, with the ability to take corrective actions when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Idea Analysis and Implementation: Drive the analysis of ideas by challenging their strategic alignment and business case. Lead and perform studies, ensuring continuity by managing subsequent implementation projects.
• Project Delivery Management: Manage the successful delivery of the entire project in close collaboration with the sponsor, business, and IT Lead, adhering to time, budget, scope, risk, and quality standards, and following the client's project management methods, processes, and policies.
• Communication and Change Management: Define, coordinate, and ensure the implementation of the required communication and change management plan to integrate project deliverables smoothly into the existing environment and achieve business benefits.
• Decision Making: Proactively take decisions or seek approval to ensure the project/release stays on track.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Constantly monitor and report on project/release progress and KPIs to the Project Steering Committee, Senior Management, and the relevant Portfolio Governance Body.
• Team Support and Direction: Provide direction and support to cross-functional teams; offer guidance, training, and direction to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Experience: Over 8 years of experience working or consulting in relevant fields, primarily within the financial services environment.
• Language: French and English
• Broad knowledge of the market standards, evolutions. For example: Swift essentials, Target2, CPBR+, ECMS, TIPS
• Project Management Proficiency: Skilled in structuring, planning, and monitoring projects, with a strong ability to take necessary actions to address deviations and ensure project success.
• Proven business delivery focus. Ability to understand, analyse, and interpret complex business or IT technical documents.
• Certified with Agile , Prince 2
• Experience with Clarity™, Confluence/Jira
