QA Engineer - Mobile

Position Overview

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute full set of test activities, specifically app testing with regard to Onboarding & Client Interaction: Test Analysis, Test case creation, Test execution, Defect Analysis as well as organising full test cycles
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools for mobile banking applications (iOS and Android platforms).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of high-quality software.
Utilize mobile testing techniques to ensure compatibility across different devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
Continuously improve and optimize the automation testing process, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills:

Fundamental experience and a detailed understanding in manual testing of mobile apps
In-depth understanding of mobile app development, testing methodologies, and best practices for iOS and Android platforms.
Several years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, specifically testing mobile applications, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
Strong proficiency in automated testing tools, such as Appium, Selenium with Java
Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools, such as GitHub or Bitbucket
Effective team player with good communication, self-organization and interpersonal skills; able to work in an agile and multi-cultural environment with teams located in different time zones and changing or competing requirements
Professional certifications in quality assurance and mobile testing (e.g., ISTQB, Mobile App Testing) are a plus.
