About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a background in native code Linux to join our Firmware team in Oslo, Norway or Helsinki, Finland.
You will work in a team that builds embedded analysis solutions for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) home routers, also known as Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), build test automation systems and port the software to different Linux based router platforms.
In This Role, You Will:
- Build highly optimized software for Linux based CPE devices.
- Develop network intelligence solutions that will be deployed to millions of devices.
- Port the solution on different Linux based CPE platforms.
- Build automation for functional, performance and resilience testing.
- Assist with test lab infrastructure planning and implementation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in C99
- Hands-on experience of native code Linux development.
- Linux network stack knowledge.
- Understanding of embedded Linux build systems - such as OpenWRT (Buildroot) Yocto.
- Experience/curiosity for Rust
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems architecture.
- Experience with building solutions with high stability, performance, security, maintainability, and scalability.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) for effective communication with our international team.
- Strong scripting skills in Shell scripting and Pytest.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TDD and test automation frameworks.
