Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our innovative and growing team. As a Java Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications. Your expertise in Java will play a crucial role in building efficient and reliable software solutions that drive the success of our products and services. Location: Onsite and Hybrid (Massachusetts)

Work Authorization: GC, GC EAD, H4 EAD, USC

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues, ensuring high-quality performance.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and development trends.
  • Implement and integrate APIs, services, and databases.
  • Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Java EE.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
