Requirements

Overall experience 8+ with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on time series analysis.

Expertise in statistical modeling techniques (e.g., ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, exponential smoothing, etc.) and predictive modeling.

Deep understanding in programming: Python, Django, Rest and FastAPI

Proficiency in machine learning algorithms for forecasting and regression, including decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting, neural networks (LSTMs, RNNs).

Experience with automation frameworks and integrating predictive models into live dashboards.

Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Python

Hands-on experience in data wrangling, cleaning, and preparing large datasets for modeling

Experience with database technologies like SQL, and experience with big data tech stack is a plus.

Solid understanding of supply chain processes, financial planning, or sales forecasting in the context of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Job responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain advanced time series forecasting models, including ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, and other machine learning-based techniques to support business needs in areas like demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and financial modeling.

Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights.

Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.

Design and implement predictive models for business forecasting and planning using historical data, including both traditional time series models and modern machine learning techniques (e.g., Random Forest, XGBoost, LSTM, etc.).

Take ownership of end-to-end data science projects, from data extraction and cleaning to model development, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into actionable analytical models and solutions.

Continuously monitor the performance of deployed models and make iterative improvements based on feedback and data.

Create compelling data visualizations to communicate insights and findings. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics and performance indicators. Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business analysts. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and team members.

Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and machine learning. Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve data analysis and model development processes. Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation in data science practices.
