Job Title: DevOps Engineer with Java Development

Hybrid onsite (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

As part of the Workflows' SCRUM team, your role is to contribute to Kubernetes topics (RUN and BUILD of the platform):

  • Analyze, Design, Implement and document appropriate architecture target, in line with the Sprint Backlog
  • Best practices and guidelines
  • Actively participate in the technical community to ensure knowledge sharing across the IT teams
  • Should have worked on BPMN tools like Pipefy, Bizagi, Kissflow, Appian, ProcessMaker, Nintex, Lucidchart(either of these)
  • Should be well versed in OOPS concept and be able to Data modelling.
  • Basic knowledge on architecture using BDD, Spring-security and REST API.
  • Hands-on Java coding

Environment:

  • As part of the DevOps chapter, you will share knowledge and best practices and stay in touch with other DevOps products to benefit from knowledge sharing and advice.
  • The product team is composed mostly of Software Engineers, Business Analysts, a Scrum Master and DevOps.
  • We deliver a very interesting and stimulating environment based on DevOps practices such as "Infrastructure as code."

Responsibilities

Required Experience: Who you are:

  • You are a DevOps with strong background in JAVA development.
  • On-premises Kubernetes
  • Strong background in YAML Language.
  • Your mantra is “each day is a learning day”.
  • You embrace the “You build it, you run it” mindset.

DevOps:

  • You have knowledge in a CI/CD solution such as Bamboo, Gitlab or others...
  • You love to automate everything, and you will be focused to ensure quality integration.
  • You have experience with docker containers, Kubernetes, and helm (GitOps)
  • Previous software engineering experience and best practices
  • Puppet server (nice to have)
  • Appway knowledge (nice to have)

SecOps:

  • Familiar with security protocols (OIDC, PPAUTH, etc.)
  • Serialization, security

Production:

  • You are monitoring driven (Kibana, etc.)
  • You are curious, and you will be able to provide level 1 support and root cause analysis

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of the banking sector
  • Scrum methodology
  • Ability to synthesize
  • Ability to use technical language in a layman's terms (discussions with functional POs/BAs)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
