Senior Java Developer – Fintech – Zurich (Permanent)

Our client, a leading fintech firm in Zurich, is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves working on high-performance software applications, leveraging modern Java technologies and best development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring
• Use Gradle for build automation and optimize deployment processes
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial technology solutions
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java and Spring framework
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana and messaging systems (ActiveMQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Experience in areas of finance, wealth management and knowledge of financial instruments are a plus
• Fluency in German and English
