Technical Architect (Java)

Contract: Permanent Full time - (hybrid 2 days/week onsite)

Mission

You will take part in a large-scale project aimed at developing innovative HR administration and payroll solutions for mid-sized employers. Working closely with the lead technology architect, you will help shape technical analyses and define scalable, robust solutions. Youll collaborate in a cross-functional team including product owner, project manager, business and IT architects, scrum master, analysts, and multiple development squads.

Responsibilities

• Design and document technical architectures tailored to business needs
• Clearly articulate and model architectural decisions (e.g., ArchiMate, C4)
• Maintain a strong balance between simplicity, robustness, and scalability
• Help define technical development standards and frameworks
• Support analysts, PMs, and developers in implementation and delivery

Profile

• Deep experience with Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, SQL, and microservices
• Solid knowledge of Azure PaaS (Event Hub, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, SQL Server)
• Proven use of design patterns for scalable and reliable solutions
• Experience in HR/payroll environments is an asset
• Languages: Fluent in Dutch or French, and a good command of English (required)
