Job Title: Embedded Android Developer

One of our clients is seeking a talented and experienced Embedded Android Developer to join their team, working on the innovative ClickShare product line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development on Android platforms and be comfortable working in a collaborative Agile environment.

• Translate product requirements into clear technical specifications and system designs.
• Participate in a cross-functional Scrum team focused on the ClickShare solution.
• Develop robust back-end logic and modern user interfaces.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and resource efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with QA teams to identify, debug, and resolve issues.
• Monitor and address bugs, ensuring timely and high-quality fixes.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation for all software components.
• Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and contribute to planning efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing embedded software/firmware on Android platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Kotlin/Java and C++.
• Solid understanding of embedded software development and application design.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

• Embedded Android internals or Android low-level OS development
• Linux (especially embedded or low-level system development)
• Python scripting and automation
• Network communication protocols (e.g., TCP/UDP)
• Multi-threaded application development and thread safety mechanisms
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS)
• Tools such as Git, SVN, CI/CD pipelines, TDD, and automation frameworks
• Media technologies such as video/audio processing, codecs, OpenGL, GStreamer, Qt, or Android Media Framework
• Knowledge of MDEP, DevOps, infrastructure, and security best practices
