AWS Network Engineer

Role: AWS Network Engineer

Location: Brussels (Hybrid)

AWS Networking Experience Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain AWS network infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, NAT gateways, and Direct Connect
• Support cloud migration projects by helping transition workloads from on-prem to AWS
• Collaborate with architects and security teams to implement scalable and secure network solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance across cloud environments
• Maintain clear documentation of network configurations and provide training or support to internal teams

Requirements:

• Solid hands-on experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, etc.)
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall rules, IAM policies, and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Previous involvement in cloud migration and network transformation projects
• AWS certifications (especially Advanced Networking – Specialty) are a strong plus
• Fluent in Dutch, with good communication skills in English
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
