Job Title: Data Engineer (GCP)

Location: Helsinki, Finland

Hybrid: 2-3 days on-site (negotiable to remote)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines and cloud-based data environments using services like BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).

You’ll work on designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, managing workflow orchestration, setting IAM roles and network configurations, and ensuring smooth, secure, and scalable data operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in GCP
• Work with GCP tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Storage
• Manage IAM roles, policies, network configurations, and monitoring solutions
• Design and maintain data warehouse and relational database solutions
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and workflows
• Automate tasks using Python or Bash
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data integration and delivery

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer on GCP
• Strong experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and schema design
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Experience working in data integration and cloud infrastructure
