As a Java FullStack Developer at Emergn, you’ll help us shape Emergn’s exciting future and play an important role in our growth.

We want you to:

• Take responsibility over designing, coding, testing and deploying Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, architecture and delivery timelines.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.

You’re a perfect fit if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with front-end technologies (VueJS/React/Angular) and RESTful API development.
• Proven experience with Microservices and JWT OAuth 2.
• Expertise with PostgreSQL Database.
• Proficiency in Latvian (written, verbal), and required to be a Latvian citizen.

Nice to have:

• Experience in HTML, CSS, Typescript.
• Government project experience.
• GitLab (GitLab pipelines)
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (YAML).
• Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes).

Location requirement:

• Although this position offers the possibility to work remotely, you must be based anywhere in Latvia.
