Key requirements:

  • Technical Proficiency in Programming and Scripting Languages: Familiarity with languages like Python, Ruby, Go, or Shell scripting is essential for automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Experience with DevOps Tools and Technologies: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions), configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of Cloud Services and Architecture: Knowledge of cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in managing cloud infrastructure, understanding of cloud-native technologies.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Proficiency with container technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for managing and provisioning infrastructure through code.
  • Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting: Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and the ability to set up effective logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Security Practices and Compliance: Understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure coding practices, and experience with tools for static and dynamic analysis, compliance scanning, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Networking and Security Fundamentals: A solid grasp of networking concepts (e.g., HTTP, TCP/IP) and security (e.g., SSL/TLS, firewall, VPN) to troubleshoot and secure applications and infrastructure.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work within a team, adaptability to change, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Certifications (Optional but Beneficial): Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA), Certified Jenkins Engineer, or any relevant certifications that demonstrate expertise in DevOps practices and tools.


Soft skill

  • A good enough interpersonal skill, able to collaborate/communicate with technical and not technical person
  • Capability to create clear and comprehensive documentation for process, and configuration with always in mind to be shareable
  • Able to manage himself to meet the project time requirement
  • Be always happy and flexible to be involved in unfamiliar IT projects and quick learner to how to integrate it


Tool skill

  • Strong infrastructure and system administration knowledge covering Linux, networking, IaC/Ansible.
  • Good understanding of role and permission best practices and mindset approach of governance at first
  • Good understanding of Authentication and Authorization for Automation
  • Enough Knowledge of containerization (no matter with tools) and be able to use it proficiently in daily routine
  • Understanding of Pipeline deployment process preferably GitLab / GitHub
