Junior Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Porto.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement cybersecurity controls tailored to organizational needs.
• Conduct thorough testing of cybersecurity solutions to identify the most suitable options for the company's requirements and context.
• Evaluate and enhance existing solutions by adding functionality, facilitating continuous improvement, or resolving technical issues.
• Assist in recognizing, identifying, and characterizing technologies and their associated cybersecurity risks.
• Communicate risks, mitigation strategies, and recommend suitable technologies effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate in the cybersecurity incident management process as required.

Requirements (Mandatory):

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in technological or engineering roles (open to junior candidates eager to learn).
• Knowledge of technologies or tools related to Cybersecurity (a strong plus).
• Intermediate English proficiency (not mandatory).
