Infotainment Software Developer - 12390

We are looking for an experienced Infotainment Software Developer to join a high-performing team working on next-generation automotive platforms. The role focuses on the development, integration, and performance optimization of infotainment systems and their core software layers. You will be part of a collaborative and technically challenging environment where innovation and continuous improvement are key.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate infotainment features and system components across Android/Linux/QNX platforms.
  • Work closely with system architects and performance engineers to ensure software stability, boot/shutdown behavior, and runtime performance.
  • Participate in the debugging and troubleshooting of complex software and hardware issues.
  • Collaborate on the development of diagnostic tools and test frameworks to validate infotainment functionality and system behavior.
  • Ensure compliance with Google xTS certification processes (CTS, VTS, GTS) and assist in closing certification gaps.
  • Contribute to the improvement of startup time, memory usage, CPU performance, and multimedia responsiveness.
  • Engage in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive domain.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, and/or Kotlin.
  • Solid experience with Android Automotive OS, Linux, or QNX platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ADB, Android Studio, Git, JIRA, Confluence, and performance profiling tools.
  • Experience working with Google certification tools (CTS, GTS, VTS).
  • Excellent debugging skills and understanding of system logs and crash reports.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in infotainment domains such as media, connectivity, navigation, or vehicle HMI.
  • Familiarity with hypervisor environments and SoC-based platforms.
  • Exposure to CAN, MOST, or other in-vehicle networking protocols.
  • Understanding of SELinux, system security, and Android permission models.
