Responsibilities
- Technologies used: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS, Spark, Snowflake, Snowpark, Github Actions, Airflow, Grafana.
- Design, test, deploy, and maintain efficient ML solutions and pipelines, considering data, problem complexity, and computational constraints.
- Ensure robust model evaluation on unseen datasets to prevent overfitting and address bias or fairness concerns.
- Develop advanced ML platforms capable of managing large-scale training pipelines and processing billions of predictions daily.
- Prototype and experiment with tailored ML platforms, creating proofs of concept.
- Optimize the model deployment lifecycle, implementing CI/CD practices for automation and consistency.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to enhance platform features and streamline model development, accelerating the transition to production.
- Work with internal teams to improve code quality and ensure the reliability and performance of ML systems.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in the industry.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and frameworks (e.g., GitHub Actions, Airflow) and expertise in ETL or big data technologies (e.g., MapReduce, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with popular machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML) and/or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, SageMaker).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Solid experience with SQL, including query optimization and database management.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and practices.
- A good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core software engineering concepts.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and deploying machine learning systems in an industry setting.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, AWS Step Functions/Lambda), building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and real-time monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, model registries, OpenMetadata, ML feature stores).
- Advanced programming skills in Python, Go, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management, with a focus on query optimization.
- In-depth experience with Snowflake, Snowpark, and Redis/Aerospike.
- Familiarity with the advertising industry, particularly in the areas of recommendation systems and real-time bidding (RTB) ecosystems.
- Employment directly through the client.
