Amaris is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our growing team, working on exciting projects such as Asset-AI, Manufacturing AI, and Predictive DCC. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about analytics, machine learning, and real-world impact in manufacturing and energy sectors.

Amaris is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our growing team, working on exciting projects such as Asset-AI, Manufacturing AI, and Predictive DCC. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about analytics, machine learning, and real-world impact in manufacturing and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement time series forecasting and anomaly detection models for manufacturing and energy use cases,
- Develop predictive models to improve product quality and reduce waste,
- Collaborate with data engineers and domain experts to build scalable data solutions,
- Participate in the full machine learning lifecycle: model development, deployment, monitoring, and retraining,
- Work with ML tools and frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch,
- Support the creation of robust data pipelines for batch and real-time data,
- Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field,
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in data science or applied analytics,
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries,
- Familiarity with time series analysis and forecasting techniques,
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, data lakes, and ETL workflows,
- Previous exposure to manufacturing or energy data is a plus,
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn,
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
