Position Overview:

DeepLight is looking for an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to join our cutting-edge technology team in the UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and management of our cloud infrastructure on the AWS platform. Your expertise will help enhance our system's performance, security, and scalability, providing the backbone necessary for our innovative AI solutions.

Requirements

  • AWS Infrastructure Management: Design and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure to support a range of applications and services, ensuring alignment with best practices
  • Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate resource provisioning, monitoring, and management
  • Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices and compliance measures, including identity and access management, data protection, and vulnerability scanning
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance, making recommendations and implementing optimizations to improve reliability and efficiency across the AWS infrastructure
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of software updates
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to understand application requirements, troubleshoot issues, and create integrated solutions that enhance workflow
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, processes, and workflows, facilitating knowledge sharing and onboarding for team members
  • Proven experience as an AWS Platform Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in managing cloud infrastructure and services
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM, and more, with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as microservices architecture
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD and monitoring, such as Jenkins, Git, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices in the cloud computing domain
