Position: Data Analyst

Duration: 1-year contract with potential to hire or extensions

Location: Columbus, OH 43215 (Onsite Monday-Friday, parking is free!)

Hours: Normal 8-5

Pay Rate: $30-40/hour


Must-Haves:

  • Education: Bachelor's or associate's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst with 3-4 years of experience building dashboards in Power BI.
  • Skills: Proficient in data cleaning, fixing structural errors, formatting, removing duplicates, extracting, and discovering patterns.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, Python).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify data needs and ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular audits and validations.
  • Documentation: Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
