Role Description

As a Backend Engineer at Easebuzz, you will be a core member of our engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the scalable and reliable backend services that power our financial operating system. You will work with modern technologies, contribute to our microservices architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features for our diverse range of business clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python, GoLang, or Node.js.
• Optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of existing and new microservices.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, DevOps specialists, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.
  
  

- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality. -

• Drive best practices in backend engineering, architecture design, and system operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes to ensure system stability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and deployment pipelines.
  
  

Technical Skills Required

• Languages : Strong programming skills in any of Python, GoLang, or Node.js.
• Frameworks : Hands-on experience with Django and/or FastAPI (for Python).
  
  

DevOps & Infra

• Proficient in containerization using Docker.
• Experience with orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Linux environments.
• Cloud : Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a solid understanding of core cloud services.
  
  

Qualifications And What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3 to 7 years of experience in backend software development.
• Demonstrated strong programming skills in at least one of the required languages (Python, GoLang, or Node.js).
• Hands-on experience designing and building scalable backend services.
• Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Solid understanding of database systems and their interaction with backend services.
• Proven problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
