The EUD Project Lead is responsible for the strategic direction, co-ordination and project management of the End User Devices Workgroup within the One Devon EPR Programme. This project will ensure that the EPR programme delivers the necessary IT equipment to ensure clinical staff have access to a fully electronic patient record . As a key part of the project, the post holder will also be responsible for the planning, coordination and ultimate delivery of end user device scoping, financial planning, site assessments, equipment rollout and technical readiness assessments prior to Trust go-lives, including the management of visiting external floorwalkers and will foster close working relationships with EPR Training Teams, Communications and Engagement Teams, CXIOs and Programme and Operational Leadership as well as local Trust Infrastructure resource.

Interviews for this role will take place on Thursday 15th May 2025.

  • Develop comprehensive and cohesive project/programme plans, in line with the with the overall programme timetable
  • Lead on the delivery of project/programme plans, allocating tasks as appropriate, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options and ultimately making decisions in the best interest of the programme
  • Pro-actively manage stakeholders, respond to and resolve conflict between different stakeholders when this arises through facilitation or other appropriate mechanisms
  • Manage the End User Devices resource across the programme and drive delivery of the work in scope, and any other tasks or projects as required by the One Devon Programme and Epic warranted environment.
  • Oversee End User Device floor support over go-live, managing a team of End User Devices engineers..
  • Responsible for coordinating the deployment and testing of all devices connecting to Epic environment across all sites.
