Role overview


We are looking for a proactive Project Manager with extensive experience in managing large-scale projects and strong capabilities in Microsoft Project (MPP). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the MR2 and MR3 phases of the NTA project, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop project plans for MR2 and MR3 phases.
  • Plan project management activities, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Analyse financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Provide financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.
  • Oversee the development of the project and ensure that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
  • Draft new and improve existing project management office policies and processes.
  • Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  • Accurately document the project's creation, development, and execution as well as document the project's scope, budget, and justification.


Person specification


  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Project (MPP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team when required.
  • Resilient with the ability to manage a heavy workload, conflicting priorities, and tight deadlines.
  • Pro-active in planning, with strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to see innovative solutions to problems and the enthusiasm to drive them to a successful conclusion.
  • Willing to learn new concepts and methodologies.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Strong collaborative behaviours around communication, appreciating and respecting cultural differences, flexibility to change, sharing knowledge, and goals (recognizing objectives for all parties).


Desirable:


  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE).
  • Experience with interacting with customers.
  • Knowledge of Ticketing Transport concepts.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Waterfall, V-Model, Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Knowledge of software architecture concepts and tools (i.e., EA).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tooling
  • Knowledge of JIRA.
  • International experience and knowledge of other languages including Spanish
