Circu Li-ion is driving the green revolution by reusing batteries through our cutting-edge automated battery disassembly lines. We offer this technology as a service model to recyclers, micromobility & automotive OEMs. Our vision is to deploy the battery disassembly lines in a hub and spoke model around the globe to disassemble Li-ion battery packs into reusable Li-ion cells or modules, minimizing waste and maximizing sustainability. By upcycling these cells and modules into second-life CO2-neutral battery packs, we are revolutionizing the way batteries are reused.

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, your role will be to contribute to our core software products for our automated disassembly lines. You will be actively involved in designing HMI Software, working directly with robots and sensors.

This position is ideal for individuals who excel in coding skills but also like to see their work “moving not only bits but atoms” and making a real difference immediately.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The scope of responsibility is, not limited to, detailed below:

• Lead and drive full-stack software projects related to automated product disassembly and up-cycling.
• Take ownership of both front-end and back-end development, and ensure integration between the two.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering department to conduct continuous R&D on our software to create products.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including perception, automation and engineering.
• Develop high-quality applications using frontend technologies like React and backend technologies like Node.js or Python.
• Conduct thorough testing, including unit and end-to-end testing, to ensure software reliability.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing, participating in internal developer talks, presentations, code reviews, and documentation.
• Manage a small team of software and data engineers in their daily tasks.

• 5 years of experience in a similar field, including 5+ years’ experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• 5+ years’ experience with backend technologies like REST API, WebSocket and Message Queues
• Master's degree in computer science or another STEM field.
• Exceptional full-stack coding skills, proficient in writing clean code, relying on common design patterns and being open to learning and implementing innovative coding methods using NodeJS, Python, and similar technologies. Extensive experience in React for the front-end, and proficiency in server-side technologies such as Node.js or Python.
• Passion for creating user-friendly interfaces that effectively address user needs.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving objectives.
• Proven track record of continuous learning, independent work, and decision-making with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, verbal and written communication in English. French and German are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure while juggling multiple tasks and adhering to tight deadlines.
• Ease of use with Microsoft Office technologies.
