About The Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Systems Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing AWS Cloud-based infrastructure to join our dynamic team. Our SaaS solutions for semantic search and document understanding are used by thousands of international users, making 24×7 availability, performance, and data integrity crucial to our business success. Your expertise will help us operate, standardize, and optimize our cloud infrastructure as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure components (EC2, VPC, EKS, S3, EFS, etc.) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform/OpenTofu.
  • Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Implement high availability and fault-tolerant solutions to achieve 99.99% uptime.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS ECR.
  • Operate and improve automation tooling to streamline infrastructure management.
  • Monitor system health using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana, proactively addressing performance bottlenecks.
  • Manage data backups and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux system administration.
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or OpenTofu.
  • Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Nexus.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch (nice to have).
  • Ability to create, monitor, and restore system backups without impacting production environments.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
