Backend Developer

You’ll be focused in

Collaborating within a cross-functional DevOps team to build digital products for eMobility, Fleet, and Driver management.
Designing and implement scalable, resilient, secure, and observable microservices.
Applying SOLID principles and Clean Code best practices (code so clean it practically debugs itself).
Ensuring code quality through automated testing and thorough code reviews.
Deploying efficiently and cost-effectively to AWS environments using CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborating closely with Product Owners to define technically feasible and effective solutions.
Working within an international team distributed across Lisbon, Munich, and Porto.

In order to succeed, you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience
Proven experience working as a Backend Developer or related role
Strong understanding of microservice and event-driven architecture principles.
Hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring (including Spring Boot), and JUnit.
Basic proficiency in Python.
Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Experience working with AWS cloud services.
Proven ability to deliver complex IT solutions within Agile product development environments.
Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

Experience developing AI-powered products.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React.
