Frontend Software Engineer

This role is based in Barcelona, with an on-site commitment of three days a week. Fluency in English is required.

Accountabilities

As a Frontend React Software Engineer, you’ll be an essential part of a cross-functional team, working on the user interface/frontend that powers our Product Suite to improve the experience for patients and healthcare professionals alike. You will build great front-end experiences for our customers driven by our User Experience Design team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining frontend interfaces for our applications.
• Writing reusable, modular React components.
• Collaborating with other engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to refine features and ensure they deliver outcomes.
• Implementing responsive designs.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving bugs and performance issues.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
  
  
  

Essential Skills/Experience

• Proficiency in React, React Router, State management using Redux or similar.
• Experience working with Axios or similar.
• Experience building microfrontends.
• Restful API development and integration.
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of React performance techniques (memoization, lazy loading) and browser tools for debugging.
• Experience with Typescript.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, such as object-oriented programming and Agile methodologies.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development.
  
  
  

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Experience designing solutions for complex projects within large organizations.
• Familiarity with common frontend libraries.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Automated UI Testing, such as Selenium.
