Purpose of Role: As a Software Developer in Predictive Maintenance for Minerals Digital, you'll play a key role in building and deploying a machine-learning-driven predictive maintenance system. You’ll work closely with AI developers, vibration analysts, and system architects to deliver scalable and reliable backend services that bring advanced condition monitoring to life.

To excel in this role, you need to be detail-oriented, pragmatic, and a strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams. You should be comfortable working in both experimental and production-level codebases and have a solid understanding of data-intensive application design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services to serve machine learning models across edge and cloud environments
• Collaborate with AI developers to integrate ML pipelines into production workflows, including model serving and updates
• Write clean, maintainable Python code with an emphasis on performance, testing, and reliability
• Support development of APIs and interfaces that connect ML model outputs to downstream systems and user applications

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong Python development skills with a focus on backend systems and APIs
• Experience developing and maintaining software in production environments
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
