IT security engineer

The position

The Cambio IT unit is expanding our IT security capabilities, we are looking for a new colleague to be a part of the IT security team. In this position the focus is to work with our IT security systems in collaboration with various teams across Cambio to ensure a high level of security for our environments and customers. We need you - a skilled and motivated IT Security Engineer, keen on working with both IT security on-prem and in cloud.

In your role as a Security Engineer your focus will primarily be designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems, functions and mechanisms and infrastructure in collaboration with various teams across Cambio to ensure a high level of security for our environments and customers.

Examples of work tasks that will be on your agenda: maintain and improve the operations of IT security tasks through our security tools, perform security technical assessments, assist with- and coordinate pen tests, participate in vulnerability analysis activities - being the key resource for IT security investigating activities. And last but not least - enforce security policies, procedures, and standards set by Cambio, stakeholders and customers.

About you 
You are driven by being proactive, and know your way around best practises in the business. You are structured, you thrive from helping others to be able to do it the safe and right way. Networking skills are in focus, this team will have many interfaces and expectations. And you see the importance of involvement and communication – making IT security a hygiene factor and mandatory part of design, implementation and operations.

Requirements 

• 2-4 years of experience in a security engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with both on-premise environments.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and Endpoint Protection solutions.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST, GDPR).
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to security.
• Experience with scripting and automation e.g., Python, PowerShell (including KQL), Bash.
• Experience from tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana/Loki , Elastic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

It's a bonus if you

• Knowledge of Security Operations, Network Security, Application Security, or Data Protection.
• Experience from cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Have experience from Pen testing activities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH).

Place of employment: Linköping or Stockholm

At Cambio we value a healthy work-life balance, and to encourage that we apply a hybrid working-model. Our policy is to work from the office three days a week, and together with your team you decide which days you work at the office. On the remaining days you can work remotely from home, but you are always more than welcome to work at the office too.

Scope: Full time

Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
