Infrastructure Engineer for a leading AI enterprise

We are seeking an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer with cloud and on-premise experience to join our client, a leader in the AI domain. The role involves designing core platforms and software systems while supporting data abstraction, data pipelines, identity and access management, security tools, and the underlying cloud infrastructure.

Tasks and Deliverables:

Application Deployment: Design and deploy applications mainly on Azure, with some projects on GCP and on-premises.

Architecture and Security: Create diagrams to support deployment approvals in restricted environments.

Deployment Strategies: Develop deployment plans, especially where standard Azure services are limited.

Infrastructure Automation: Use and enhance Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for provisioning and cloud infrastructure management.

Networking: Manage secure networking components like VPCs, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.

CI/CD and Scalability: Design CI/CD pipelines and optimize Kubernetes-based container orchestration for scalability and reliability.

Disaster Recovery & Hybrid Cloud: Build and test disaster recovery plans, and implement hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.

This is a contract-based opportunity. The role is remote, but there is a big preference for talents located near the site and willing to occasionally travel to one of the Client's four preferred locations: Doha, London, Budapest, or Berlin. The engagement is expected to last 6-12 months. A work commitment of 40 hours per week is required.
