IT Information Security Officer

This position would belong to the Global Freight Forwarding business line. With a global reach and a presence in 67 countries, GEODIS is one of the world's largest freight forwarding companies.

As a key member of the IT Global team, you will work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment. You will play the role of orchestra conductor, working closely with various cross-functional departments in the Freight Forwarding business, regional teams, and global teams.

IT Information Security Officer :

• Lead IT Security and Compliance management for FF in conjunction with Group IT CISO (security program animation, local project follow-up).
• Ensure cybersecurity strategy execution.

1. Security program animation, local project follow-up.

• Oversee policies and standards implementation of Geodis global security policies and contribute to compliance & audit:

1. User Access and Password Management.
2. Patch Management.
3. Risk and cyberthreat exposure.
4. Disaster Recovery.
5. Application Security.
6. Security Logs.
7. Assets management.
8. Workstation security.

• Train and advise IT teams & end users:

1. Awareness, communications, IT project security advisory (including architecture)

• Enforce risk management framework adherence:

1. Risk management, Business Impact Analysis, Assets classification with Business,

• 3rd Parties management:

1. Point of contact for Customers RFQ, Contract execution, Challenge Geodis providers,

• Animate & Enforce adherence to the incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
• Promote share and assess IT Security rules application within FF business organization.
• Lead IT security rules implementation across all FF IT landscape.
• Lead remediation actions for non-conformity.
• Lead communication and emergency plan on security incidents.
• Build and communicate IT Security Report.

Experience & Knwoledge

• Bachelor in IT Systems and master’s degree on IT Security systems (preferable).
• 10 years of experience in the IT industry.
• +5 years of experience working on the Cyber Security Field.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and/or supply chain management not required.

Candidate Skills:

Network Security.

• Knowledge of firewall, IDS/IPS (Indrustion detection/prevention System), VPNs, and other security protocols to protect networks from unauthorized access.
• Understanding Network architecture to identify vulnerabilities.

Risk management and assessment.

• Expertise in risk mitigation strategies, identifying and prioritizing threats based on their severity.

Security Framework.

• Familiar with industry standard ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, GDPR.

Cloud.

• Knowledge of Securing cloud platform and cloud security best practices in a hybrid environment (AWS, Azure), on premise datacentres.

Identity and Access Management.

• Knowledge of user access control mechanism, MFA/SSO/Role Based access control.

• High MS skills (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Project management skills.
• Cultural awareness.
