Tech Lead - PHP/Laravel + React

The technical project lead is a key role at Antero where we build SaaS products and support bespoke software for our clients.

In this role, you'll be part of a Brisbane-based technology team at our Fortitude Valley office, supported by experienced Delivery Managers, Product Owners, and a skilled development team located in Europe.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the executive team, senior technical staff, and product owners to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions. Success in this position requires a strong ability to solve complex problems across both code and infrastructure, and a commitment to crafting high-quality, beautifully designed products.

Position Description

You will be expected to apply your range of talents wherever necessary across the following areas:

• Architecting technical solutions and designing and orchestrating the execution of roadmaps for complex web platforms
• Leading and developing teams under an Agile delivery model - including but not limited to breaking high-level outcomes into technical tasks, solution architecture and automated quality assurance of code
• Have advanced experience in PHP web application development using the Laravel framework
• Have advanced experience with Javascript (preferably Typescript) and React
• Able to define and develop scalable, secure and performant technology architecture
• Experience and knowledge applying with cyber security practices involved with software development
• A high level of comfort with single page applications, APIs and integrations
• Experience with AWS services and Docker is required
• Experience in technical leadership and dedication to delivering results
• Experience scaling platforms through periods of rapid growth to maintain operational stability and consistent software delivery
• A love of working with cutting edge web technology and making clients / stakeholders happy in the process
• Remain two steps ahead at all times when it comes to maintaining the integrity and operations of our platforms
• Being on hand to assist any other areas of the business as might be required

Antero is a SaaS product and bespoke software provider which is part of the Flip Group, including weareflip our digital agency partner.

Antero develops its own SaaS products specific to FinTech and financial markets in addition to providing software consultation and bespoke software development for our clients.

Our flagship product Incept is used by several Asset Finance companies within Australia providing a FinTech platform in a box to accelerate loan origination, credit decisioning, settlements, doc gen, etc.
