UX/UI Designer

At Stomble we're an exciting startup looking for a highly experienced UX/UI designer to join our team. We are a small startup bootstrapping our way forward with a group of eager engineers and designers already with a high level of ambition to build and deliver our MVP product to the world.

Stomble is creating, developing and building infrastructure that will eventually support small businesses to have more control over their business by building solutions to solve their most difficult and complex problems. Our mission is to support businesses on their journey to create economic opportunities. We believe this is a very empowering goal as we feel obligated to build business solutions to support the next ideas.

Why are we looking for an experienced person?

We are opening ourselves up to someone willing donate their time, knowledge and skills to help us learn, grow and develop our incredible product from an idea into a competitive platform that competes at the highest levels and has the pulling power to entice the smartest people to join our mission and vision. We are looking for experienced people to join our small scrappy startup to help solve those problems and to give us the best chances at success.

Responsibilities:

• Sharing ideas, concepts and innovative ideas.
• Designing and ideating quickly.
• Can solve challenging design problems.
• Willingness to speak, pitch and adapt to customers.
• Experienced in using Figma including building and designing design systems.
• Experience with organizing files, labelling and constructing deliverables to engineers.
• Working alongside engineering teams.

The successful person will have:

• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and process.
• Proficiency in design tools preferably Figma.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Sharing ideas, concepts and innovative ideas.
• Designing and ideating quickly.
• Enjoys reading, learning and brainstorming.
• Is creative and can solve challenging design problems.
• Has a natural curiosity towards learning and investigating problems.
• Willingness to speak, pitch and adapt to customers.
• Has a natural curiosity towards learning and investigating problems.

The successful candidate will have experience in:

• Figma.
• Design system.
• Can ideate fairly quickly.
• Has experience working alongside technical and non-technical members.
• Can create active prototypes.
• Conducting user research.
• Has a basic understanding of frontend engineering.

Limitations of the position:

• Position is fully remote.
• This role is unpaid unfortunately as haven't launched our product and we don't have revenue nor raised venture capital.
• We are unable to sponsor applicants at this time.
• Must be located in Australia.
