Automation Software Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for complex systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Dev, QA) to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Drive integration of automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate, triage, and help resolve test failures or system regressions.
• Mentor team members and contribute to code reviews and design discussions.
• Continuously improve test infrastructure, tooling, and engineering best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation using Python or Java.
• Strong foundation in software design principles, test frameworks (e.g. Pytest), and OOP.
• Experience with service-level testing (REST/gRPC), database queries, and source control (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in fast-paced development cycles.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C++, C#, or enterprise-scale systems in retail, payments, or POS environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, PCF) and authentication protocols (OAuth2, LDAP).
• Background in BDD or behavior-driven testing approaches.
• Understanding of system architecture and performance testing.
