Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Join our innovative IT company as a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in building and enhancing our observability environment. This position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with software engineering teams, focusing on best practices for aggregating logs and observability metrics. You will work alongside our product engineering teams to ensure high performance and observability of our services, making a direct impact on the success of our cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering assistance for our Gaming Client observability infrastructure used by online services
• Work independently from open-ended objectives and communicate effectively in English
• Support, maintain, and improve the existing infrastructure, managing the integration of third-party systems as well
• Participate in on-call shifts, with additional compensation according to the hours assigned
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services, Git, Kubernetes, Linux, and Terraform
• Knowledge of OTEL
• Understanding of basic networking
• Scripting skills in Python and bash
• Programming skills in Golang
• Familiarity with observability concepts such as counters, gauges, alert design, etc
• Proficiency in PromQL and NRQL
• Experience with distributed tracing
