You will find the dynamics of e-commerce, agile processes, flat hierarchies and steep development curves.

Now they are looking for a Junior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong interest in building end-to-end solutions.

Requirements:

• Good degree, e.g. in data science, (business) informatics, mathematics, physics or statistics
• First practical professional experience in data science projects, preferably with first insights into ranking and recommendation systems
• Sound knowledge of the Python data science stack (Pandas, SKLearn, SciPy) as well as experience with deep learning frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow)
• Creativity and curiosity in applying the latest algorithms from the field of data science to optimize their products
• Motivation for interdisciplinary work between IT and product management and for knowledge exchange within the company’s Data Science Community
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Responsibilities:

• Providing performant and scalable features of data applications and models together with a team of experienced Machine Learning Engineers
• Further development and provision of machine learning operations (ML Ops)
• Development and derivation of models and optimization possibilities with machine learning and self-correcting algorithms (e.g. in the areas of natural language processing, recommender systems, search/ranking systems)
• Performance-oriented structuring, programming and implementation of logics
• Integration of versioned models, updated results and optimizations into the production system
• Transfer of business use cases into technical concepts and system architectures
• Preparation, content combination and cleansing of systems, data sources and content (AWS, databases, Google Analytics, ...)
