Temelion is an AI copilot for automated building engineering design, which assists building engineers during their workflow and helps generate high quality, flexible, and low-carbon designs. The product’s fine-tuned AI models specialize in solving business problems such as specifications management, functional design, design verification and generation of 3D models.

Job Description

Role

The Senior Fullstack Engineer role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to bootstrap and build the technical stack that will power Temelion’s agentic AI-based platform.

The person in this role will partner closely with the co-founders CTO and COO to build the Temelion technology stack from the ground up, both in terms of frontend and backend.

This role also provides a unique opportunity to implement state-of-the art agentic AI workflows, tool use and integrate the latest developments of foundational AI models.

Responsibilities

• Work hand-in-hand with the product owner to find the best technical solutions to ship high-value product features.
• Contribute and strongly influence the technology roadmap (backend, frontend, database, infrastructure)
• Design, implement and test scalable backend APIs and data models
• Deliver exceptional UX maximizing client productivity and ease-of-use
• Integrate external or in-house AI models
• Integrate external tool APIs to maximize agent’s performance
• Ship product increments in rapid, frequent iterations
• Provide technical support to first customers

The successful candidate shall have a passion for solving hard problems, finding impacting solutions in the presence of complex data, workflows and scalability issues.

Working in an agile, innovative and fast-paced environment is a must, as well as the ability to ship rapid product increments.

Skills Required

• You have at least 4+ years of experience in backend development with a preference for Node.js but a strong knowledge of Python, with a focus on simplicity, scalability, availability, and performance.
• You have at least 2+ years of experience working on frontend applications, preferably with React or Next.js.
• Experience with distributed microservices or serverless architectures is a plus.
• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with developing and deploying a product or service on AWS or GCP is a plus.
• You are a problem solver: you like finding impactful solutions to complex problems
• You can work with little supervision
