We are looking for an intern to join us in this journey 

As part of our team, you will work in the technology department and contribute to the further development of HiberHilo®’s robust and scalable backend infrastructure using cutting-edge cloud technology. This supports the remote monitoring of our customer’s wells through our dashboard solution and it enables  our operations team to manage installations all around the globe.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Design and implement solutions tailored to client infrastructure and data residency requirements. This includes on-premise architecture and deployments
• Use DevOps practices to test, automate and deploy within our deployment pipeline
• Work closely with the other backend developers, frontend developers and the product owner to help build end-to-end functionality
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and share knowledge with the rest of the team

We are looking for: 

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Based in the Netherlands
• Good understanding of programming concepts (we use Kotlin at Hiber, so experience with Kotlin or other JVM languages is a bonus) 
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (we use PostgreSQL at Hiber)
• Understanding of OS and networking concepts, Linux/Unix systems and command-line operations
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• A collaborative team player with a strong desire to learn!
