Consulting Engineer – Network Solutions

We're looking for a Consulting Engineer for an international project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Cisco services and solutions for major customer projects.
• Collaborate directly with customers to plan, configure, and troubleshoot solutions that accelerate business outcomes.
• Support pre-sales activities by translating business needs into tailored solution architectures.
• Drive technology transitions, influencing customer roadmaps and IT strategy.
• Deliver technical documentation (e.g., HLDs, LLDs, Change/Implementation Plans) and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Build test environments and simulate scenarios to resolve complex network and compatibility issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing across teams.
• Align technical deliverables with customer business goals, ensuring high-impact results.
• Utilize software skills to configure, automate, and troubleshoot Cisco products, contributing to internal digital assets (e.g., scripts, digital signatures).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in professional network environments.
• Expertise in Routing & Switching protocols and comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP.
• Solid grasp of network design principles and enterprise network architectures.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and communicate solutions clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience handling challenging network issues.
• Experience with Cisco Enterprise solutions (SDA, DNA Center, SD-WAN) is a plus.
• Cisco certifications (especially CCIE) are highly valued.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools is a bonus.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA as needed.
