Are you a video editor with a knack for animating and designing motion to create high-engagement video content? Do you excel at fast-paced cuts, text animations, and motion graphics that captivate audiences? If so, we want you on our team!
At MAGIX, we create industry-leading video & audio editing software, and we’re looking for a freelance Video Editor to produce eye-catching promotional videos, social media ads, and product showcases for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Strong storytelling skills – whether it’s a 3-second ad or a 3-minute video, you know how to craft a compelling narrative.
- Editing fast-paced, high-energy videos for social media, ads, and product showcases.
- Creating motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects to enhance engagement.
- Understanding and applying trending editing styles across platforms.
- Staying up to date with video production trends and new technologies to push creative boundaries.
- 🧠 Leveraging AI-powered tools to generate and enhance video and audio content in innovative ways.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, and Events teams) to understand business goals and translate them into impactful video assets.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in video editing and animation tools (e.g., Vegas Pro, After Effects, …)
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and animation work.
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus!
- Knowledge of 3D animation & visual effects is a plus!
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English communication skills.
- You need to live in Europe (max 2h time-zone difference to Germany)
