As an Operational Technology Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Operational Technology systems and applications that directly support our production processes within Supply Chain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize, secure, and develop systems that improve the performance of production lines at the production site, improve our sustainable future, increase the safety of our factories, optimise our processes, while also implementing cybersecurity standards for our operational technology. You will be reporting to, CSSC Operational Technology Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard Operational Technology (OT) assets by implementing and supporting Cyber related systems and processes, as per the Global OT Cyber Strategy
- Ensure OT Cyber Incidents are handled effectively, and within a defined timeframe, as per the Global OT Cyber incident response process
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure correct operation of operational technology systems and applications to ensure uninterrupted production at the respective site/s
- Maintain and protect the electrical, automation, and industrial network systems from Cyber related risks
- Implement and maintain Cyber tooling, as defined by global OT Cyber Strategy
- Ensure the right execution of the OT Cyber Security hygiene programme
- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate the remediation activities
- Monitor and improve OT network systems in relation to Cyber Security
- Detect, report and manage insecure features and malicious activities in OT networks and infrastructure
- Execute the Cyber incident response plans for assigned factory and coordinate with the stakeholders
- Responsible for site compliance with OT Security; asset risk and corporate policy compliance and Cyber Security Standards
- Updating metrics and KPIs and providing status updates of Cyber activities in assigned factory
- Support the Business Continuity Plans in coordination with the BC lead for assigned factory
- Build site awareness of OT Security principles through the sharing of best practice processes and support the OT security trainings
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at plant level, central supply chain and BPT
- Contribute to future OT Cyber security strategy
- Technical training with specialist training or university of applied sciences (electrical engineering, electronics, data processing, information technology, etc)
- Technical (electrician, robotics, mechatronics) diploma or equivalent
- Other IT network or Cyber Security qualification
- English: proficiency (must), second language such as Swedish or Norwegian desirable
- Since this is a Nordic role, preferred location of residence is Sweden or Norway
- Analytical mindset with a structured, process-oriented approach
- Ability to work with own initiative
- Persuasion, assertiveness, decision making and negotiating skills
- Service-oriented, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
