The DevOps Infrastructure team at Wargaming is hiring an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to help us maintain the Wargaming Kubernetes Platform as well as contribute to various internal and open-source projects.

We are responsible for ci/cd services, monitoring system, artifacts storage, container orchestration systems etc. We offer you the greatest opportunity to become our excellent and reliable teammate and show up with high responsibility for incident resolution, consultancy on the production environment, automation of deployments and configuration, and similar regular operations. Reports to

DevOps Infrastructure Team Lead

What will you do?

Maintain availability, performance, security, reliability of our services and parts of the infrastructure around them at all stages of their service life cycle.
Support and develop a large amount of automation for the builds, deployment, and other processes required for our services.
Deploy, manage, and cover troubleshooting of our Kubernetes services as well as other OS or network-related issues.
Participate in a rotating on-call duties schedule. Provide support and assistance to other Wargaming teams in the scope of related services and duties.

What are we looking for?

Knowledge of Kubernetes API, libraries (eg. controller-runtime, etc) and third-party tooling (Helm, ArgoCD, ClusterAPI).
Professional work experience with Unix/Linux, and system administration-related tasks
Networking systems and technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, HTTP etc.
Experience with applications system analysis tools (Strace, Top etc.)
Working experience for applying various monitoring systems (for example Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
The skills in building and maintaining cloud services (CI/CD, observability, scaling, troubleshooting).
Practical skills of applying the automation tools (for example Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
Working experience with Bash, and at least one scripting language: Python, Ruby, Golang, Perl etc.
Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
Experience in providing mentorship and guidance to other team members
Experience making solid technical direction decisions
Has proven skills in technical communication with other teams

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
Expertise in building large-scale, high-volume, secure, efficient, and resilient operations environments
Software debugging skills
Hands-on programming experience with Rust / Golang

Work mode

Hybrid

The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 6000 - 7000 monthly gross.
