Product Designer

Our client is a Dubai-based innovation company specializing in luxury product design and branding solutions.

Salary: AED 8,000 - 10,000

Key Responsibilities

Product Design Development

• Design innovative and functional packaging solutions for perfume and cosmetic bottles, aligned with market trends and client expectations.
• Ensure all designs comply with the company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.

Sketching & Conceptualization

• Create initial hand sketches and detailed design drawings that translate abstract ideas into tangible concepts.
• Develop clear visual presentations to communicate ideas internally and to clients.

3D Modeling & Rendering

• Produce high-quality 3D models and photo-realistic renderings using tools such as Rhino, KeyShot, or V-Ray.
• Prepare professional visual assets for internal reviews and client presentations.

Trend Analysis & Market Research

• Stay informed on industry and design trends, particularly in cosmetics, fragrance, and lifestyle sectors, and apply insights to elevate product design.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, SCM, Engineering) and report to the General Manager to ensure alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure feasibility, material suitability, and production efficiency.

Departmental Process Development

• Contribute to the development and refinement of engineering and design procedures that support product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support the engineering team by promoting a culture of accountability, responsibility, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the cosmetics, fragrance, or lifestyle packaging industry.
• Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for 2D visualizations and presentation graphics.
• Proficiency in Rhino or equivalent 3D modeling software.
• Strong working knowledge of KeyShot or V-Ray for rendering.
• Solid understanding of OEM product development models—ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Knowledge of packaging production processes, materials, and manufacturing constraints.
• Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work in packaging and product development.
