In this role, you will design, develop and provide support for applications in Prudential Singapore. As part of this dynamic role, you will work closely with business units and other IT teams to deliver leading edge technology to enable digital capabilities of Prudential Singapore.

Objective

We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces and experiences for our web applications using Node.js and React. The candidate should have a strong understanding of modern UI/UX principles and be capable of translating high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. Additionally, an understanding of AI technologies, Python, and backend development is highly desirable.

As a UI/UX Front-End Developer, you will work closely with our product and development teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly applications. Your primary focus will be on developing new user-facing features, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. You will also play a key role in shaping the overall design language and user experience of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Develop new user-facing features using Node.js and React.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the backend.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and target user needs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks, particularly React.
• Experience with Node.js and related frameworks.
• Understanding of AI technologies and their integration into web applications.
• Familiarity with backend technologies and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Secure coding practices and Devsecops tools
