As we continue to grow and expand our team we are seeking a highly motivated Senior IMO Project Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for leading and managing complex M&A integration programs within the organization across GBS Australia & New Zealand. This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role:
The Integration Management Office (IMO) Program Manager Senior is responsible for leading and managing complex M&A integration programs within the organization. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of processes, systems, and cultures, and delivering programs on time and within budget. The Program Manager Senior will work closely with stakeholders to align integration activities with business objectives and strategic goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Program Leadership:
- Lead the M&A integration process from the signing of the offer (term sheet), ensuring a structured and strategic approach to integration planning and execution.
- Develop and implement a detailed integration roadmap that begins at the term sheet stage, aligning with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Lead and manage multiple integration programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Monitor program progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Ensure sustained engagement and alignment of cross-functional teams throughout the entire M&A lifecycle, from initial offer to full integration and beyond.
- Oversee post-integration management and leadership activities, ensuring that integration efforts extend beyond due diligence to achieve long-term business objectives and cultural alignment.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and external partners to define integration objectives and deliverables.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolve conflicts.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program status, risks, and issues.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on program outcomes.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Implement best practices and standardized methodologies to enhance integration efficiency and effectiveness.
Change Management:
- Develop and execute change management plans to support successful integration and adoption of new processes and systems.
- Provide training and support to employees to facilitate smooth transitions.
Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure integration success and track progress.
- Conduct post-integration evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in project management, with a focus on integration projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- A background in accounting, legal, or financial services industry knowledge is desirable
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Work Environment:
- This position may require occasional travel to various company locations.
- The role may involve working outside of regular business hours to meet deadlines and collaborate with our global merger & acquisition team.
