Your Role
You'll work in a committed, dynamic team developing BI solutions focused on our Contract Logistics business unit. The team is located in Tallinn, Estonia, and in Hamburg, Germany. Your primary focus as a BI Specialist will be the creation of corporate Tableau dashboards and data sources based on warehouse data, as well as enablement of Tableau users to create dashboards customized to their specific local needs. Internal users and customers worldwide will rely on your technical expertise to provide them with accurate information to steer and optimize global contract logistics processes.

Your Role

Your primary focus as a BI Specialist will be the creation of corporate Tableau dashboards and data sources based on warehouse data, as well as enablement of Tableau users to create dashboards customized to their specific local needs. Internal users and customers worldwide will rely on your technical expertise to provide them with accurate information to steer and optimize global contract logistics processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and discuss the analytics requirements of various stakeholders from the Contract Logistics business unit
- Modify and create Tableau dashboards to promote data-driven business insights with clear visualizations
- Create and maintain Tableau data sources for corporate Contract Logistics BI solutions
- Provide consulting to Tableau users on creating dashboards and data sources in line with the standards and best practices set by our Tableau Competence Center
- Pinpoint areas for improvement of the underlying data marts and data products, to ensure that dashboards have optimal performance and data quality
- Management of the Contract Logistics sites and projects on our Tableau servers
- Boost operational efficiency of our services by developing supporting tools using Python, Streamlit, etc.
- Assist our team in their cloud transition by collaborating on the migration from on-premise Oracle-based solutions to a cloud tech stack.
- Bachelor's or Master degree in computer science areas or comparable professional experience
- Several years of practical proficiency in designing Tableau dashboards and data sources based on relational databases using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
- Expert SQL knowledge and knowledge of one or more programming languages; practical experience with development of ETL/ELT processes is beneficial
- Experience with cloud database architecture, esp. Snowflake, and Infrastructure as Code is advantageous, but not necessary
- Willingness to learn new technologies and become familiar with the processes of Contract Logistics
- Excellent analytical capabilities with strong communication skills; fluent English is mandatory because we work in a multi-national hybrid team and provide global services
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, reliable and self-contained
