THE ROLE
To decrease carbon emissions worldwide, road transport and other forms of traditional transportation need to be electrified.
The Megawatt Charging System (MCS) has been developed to charge heavy-duty vehicles with sufficiently high power (>1MW) during short time windows.
The market transition towards full MCS adoption is moving at a fast pace. Kempower is at the forefront of this transition, bringing one of the most innovative and attractive solutions to the market.
We are now looking for a Product Manager to be responsible for Kempower’s megawatt charging systems product offering. The MCS Product Manager stands at the new frontier of electrification, where new technology and business are being created.
In this role, you will
- Manage MCS product offering through its lifecycle and ensure commercial success of the products
- Work in cooperation with product development on MCS product development projects.
- Identify and analyze market requirements and trends to define Kempower offering value proposition.
- Bring MCS company strategy into product vision and roadmap.
- Guide customers and partners in the selection and configuration of MCS products to meet the specific needs of multi megawatt charging infrastructure.
- Create necessary product marketing material in cooperation with Kempower marketing communications team.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- Several years of working experience in product management related roles in technology industries
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Basic understanding of technical aspects of charging infrastructure planning and dimensioning.
- Technical understanding of energy conversion via power electronics.
- Understanding firmware software for electric systems is seen as an advantage.
- Customer oriented approach in technology business
- Familiarity with relevant standards for electrical equipment
- Proactive and positive approach to work, with the ability to manage tasks independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across various situations and audiences, internally and externally
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to shared goals across functions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a curious mindset, especially valuable in our evolving and growing industry and product landscape
