Hadfield Green has been exclusively retained to appoint a Chief Technology Officer for a high potential Irish Start-Up. They are looking for a Hands-on B2B Software Product CTO who has worked in a fast paced chaotic start-up environment.

The Business

Ground breaking platform tailored for single and multi-family offices to efficiently manage and oversee their assets. It automates data capture and offers digital, on-demand reporting accessible via web and mobile interfaces, providing a centralized and secure repository for all family financial data

The Job

• Work with the CEO to drive the technical vision of the company.
• The company are looking for a Leader to align the technology function with company strategy, values and goals.
• You will grow a product and engineering team of software engineers.
• Make the software even more robust and scalable, get the engineering org singing from the same hymn sheet.
• Introduce tighter processes and procedures across engineering
• Contribute to software architecture & cloud architecture.
• Participate in funding rounds and deal with stakeholders and potential investors.

The Ideal Candidate

• 12+ years software engineering, and 5+ years at the senior management level, managing technical leaders / managers. We won’t lie, start-up experience is a massive plus.
• Not only are you technical and hands-on,, but you have a strong business acumen.
• Strong understanding of engineering and delivery processes including project and product management skills
• Proven experience building robust, scalable software and knowledge of highly distributed systems
• A realist who understands that software is not always beautiful and embraces mess with solutions & action.
• Self-starter / future thinker who isn’t afraid to push back
• A dynamic mindset and an ability to navigate the uncertainties that arise in a start-up
• Diligent & highly organised, belief, grit, trust & integrity

Information you should know

• Fully remote leadership position with teams based in Ireland.
• Important to emphasise that even though they are at seed round, they are on track to hit 1mil ARR and are on the verge of signing some major partnerships.
