- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C or C++ programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be working on Fitbit Device Software, you will contribute to all Fitbit devices, both existing in-market products and new ones. You will work directly to impact the user experience, as we deliver regular software updates to in-market products and develop new products.
In this role, you will be involved in the full software stack, from the lowest-level Hardware Abstraction Layer and drivers, all the way up to algorithms and applications.

Responsibilities

- Create user interfaces, collaborating with our User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) designers.
